Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Trade Apprentice:
- ITI Pass Certificate in respective Trade
- Diploma Apprentice:
- Diploma Pass Certificate in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government/ by a University/ by an Institute recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma in respective Discipline.
- Graduate Apprentice:
- Graduate Degree in engineering/ technology streams or general streams such as BA, B.Sc., B.Com., etc. including sandwich courses granted by a College / University recognized by AICTE/ UGC/State Government/ Central Government.
Age Limit (as on 21-07-2025):
- Trade Apprentice: Minimum age 14 years and maximum 24 years
- Diploma Apprentice: Minimum age 18 years and maximum 25 years
- Graduate Apprentice: Minimum age 20 years and maximum 28 years
Physical Standards:
- Height: 137 cms
- Weight: 25.4 Kgs
- Chest measurement: Chest expansion should not be less than 3.8 cms. irrespective of the size of the chest. (Not applicable for female candidates)
- Vision: There should be no evidence of any morbid condition of either eye or the lids of either eye, which may be liable to risk or aggravation or recurrence.

How to Apply
- Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria should first register themselves (as a candidate) on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme 2.0 (NAPS 2.0) / National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0 (NATS 2.0) portal as given below:
- The Trade Apprentices need to register themselves at the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme 2.0(NAPS 2.0) portal “https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in”.
- The Graduate Apprentice and Diploma Apprentice need to register themselves at the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0 (NATS 2.0) portal “https://www.nats.education.gov.in/”.
- The candidate must ensure that his/her Aadhar is linked with their bank Account.
- Candidates are to keep a scanned copy of the following documents ready before starting the Registration process:
- Passport-size colour photograph
- Educational Qualification (10th / 12th mark sheet and 8th mark sheet for welder trade).
- ITI/Diploma/Graduate Degree certificate and Mark sheets of all semesters/years.
- Date of Birth certificate (10th Class Certificate / Certificate issued by municipality, etc.)
- Signature of the candidate

- Candidates are compulsorily required to submit invariably self-attested copies of the following certificates/documents along with a duly signed application form:
- Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format by the Government/SSC Mark Sheet as proof of Date of Birth.

- Valid Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed Government of India format.
