Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification & Experience:

• The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Matric (10th) from any School/Institution situated within HP. The condition of passing 10th from Himachal School shall not apply to bona fide Himachalis.
• Knowledge of Animal Husbandry Activities & Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of HP.
• Preference for Practical Experience in Animal Husbandry: To be decided based on the certificate as per Annexure-B.

Age Limit:

• The Candidate should be at least 18 years and not more than 45 years of age as of the last date of application receipt, i.e., 31st January 2026.

How to Apply:

• The applications should reach in the office of the Senior Veterinary Officer (SVO) of the respective Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital* where the Pashu Mittra is proposed to be engaged, as per Annexure-D, on or before 31st January 2026 by 3 PM positively.
• The candidate will have to apply for appointment as “Pashu Mitra” on the application form as per Annexure-A, along with self-attested photocopies of relevant documents
