- Qualification: MBBS Degree from a statutory university recognized under NMC Act, 2019
- Registration: Must be registered under Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965

- Additional Govt. Engineer:
- Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognized university
- Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience as an Advocate in the High Court or courts subordinate thereto, after obtaining the certificate of practice from the State/Indian Bar Council
- Note: For SC/ST/NT/DT candidates, if sufficient candidates with 8 years’ experience are not available, experience requirement may be relaxed at MPSC’s discretion

- Must have ceased to be a serving member of the Armed Forces of the Union
