Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), on behalf of all DISCOMs under Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), has released the PGVCL Vidyut Sahayak Recruitment 2026 Notification for 236 vacancies under the Special Drive for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Eligible candidates possessing a graduate degree can submit their online applications from 17 July 2026 to 06 August 2026 through the official website.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following degrees from a recognized university:

• B.A.
• B.Com.
• B.Sc.
• B.C.A.
• B.B.A.

Minimum Marks

• Minimum 55% average marks in the final year or last two semesters.
• Degrees obtained through Regular, External, Open, or Distance Learning are eligible.
• Distance/Online programmes must be from universities accredited by:
  • NAAC (Minimum CGPA 3.01/4)
  • OR NBA (Minimum 650/1000 score)

Age Limit

As of 07 July 2026

• Maximum Age: 45 years (after all applicable relaxations)

Eligible PwBD Categories

Applicants should have a minimum of 40% disability.

Eligible disability categories include:

• Low Vision (LV)
• Hard of Hearing (HH)
• One Arm (OA)
• One Leg (OL)
• Dwarfism
• Leprosy Cured
• Acid Attack Victim
• Specific Learning Disability
• Spinal Injury
• Spinal Deformity

Salary:

During Training (3 Years)

After successful completion of three years, candidates may be appointed as Junior Assistant on the regular establishment in the pay scale:

₹25,000 – ₹55,800

Selection Process:

The recruitment process consists of:

1. First Tier Examination
2. Second Tier Examination
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Examination

Important Points

• Each exam carries 100 marks
• Minimum 45 marks required to qualify
• Final merit will be prepared based on the Second Tier Examination
• Negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer

2. Click on the “Careers/Recruitment” section.
3. Open the advertisement for “Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant) – PwBD Recruitment 2026” and read the notification carefully.
4. Click on the “Apply Online” link (available from 17 July 2026, 10:30 AM).
5. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
6. Fill in the online application form with your personal, educational, and disability details.
7. Select your preferred DISCOMs (PGVCL, DGVCL, MGVCL, and UGVCL) in the order of preference. Once submitted, the preference cannot be changed.
8. Upload the required scanned documents, including:
   • Recent passport-size photograph
   • Signature
   • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate
   • PwBD Disability Certificate
   • Gujarat Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
   • Caste/EWS/SEBC Certificate (if applicable)
   • Valid Photo ID
9. Pay the ₹250 application fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
10. Review all the entered information carefully and submit the application.
11. Download and print the completed application form and payment receipt for future reference.
