Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking, has released the Oil India Chemist Recruitment 2026 notification for 4 Contractual Chemist (Fields) vacancies. Eligible candidates will be selected through a Walk-in Interview scheduled on 17 August 2026 at Duliajan, Assam.

Candidates possessing a Master’s Degree in Chemistry along with the required experience in drilling/workover fluids can attend the interview after completing registration at the venue.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry of minimum 2 years duration from a Government of India recognized University/Institute.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification work experience in handling drilling/workover fluids in the E&P Industry (Drilling & Workover Wells).

Age Limit

Minimum Age:

• 18 Years

Maximum Age:

• General: 45 Years
• OBC (NCL): 48 Years
• SC: 50 Years

Salary

Selected candidates will receive:

• ₹70,000 per month
• Additional ₹500 per day as incidental allowance for actual days worked outside the place of posting.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

• Walk-in Interview (100 Marks)

• 50 Marks for all categories.

Walk-in Interview Details

Important: Candidates must complete registration between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Late registration will not be accepted.

• Maximum Contract Duration: 2 Years

2. Download and fill out the Personal Bio-data Form provided at the end of the notification.
3. Arrange all required documents in original along with one set of self-attested photocopies, including:

   • Registration Time: 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
5. Complete the mandatory registration within the specified time. Candidates arriving after 9:00 AM will not be allowed to register.
6. Attend the Walk-in Interview on the same day. Selection will be based solely on interview performance.
