Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• SCT Police Constable (Mechanic)

Candidates must have:

• Passed SSC or equivalent.
• ITI Certificate in any one of the following:
  • Auto Electrician
  • Mechanic Motor Vehicle
  • Mechanic Diesel
  • Fitter

SCT Police Constable (Driver)

Candidates must possess:

Option 1

• Intermediate or equivalent

OR

Option 2

• SSC with ITI in:
  • Auto Electrician
  • Mechanic Motor Vehicle
  • Mechanic Diesel
  • Fitter

Additionally,

• Must possess a valid Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicle (HPMV) / Heavy Goods Vehicle / Transport Vehicle Driving Licence.

Age Limit

Mechanic Post

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 22 Years

Driver Post

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 25 Years

Additional age relaxation is applicable as per Telangana Government rules.

Physical Standards

Height

• General Candidates: 162 cm
• ST Agency Area Candidates: 160 cm

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates must qualify:

• 1600 Meter Run
  • General: 7 Minutes 15 Seconds
  • Ex-Servicemen: 9 Minutes 30 Seconds

After qualifying:

• Long Jump – 4 meters
• Shot Put (7.26 kg) – 6 meters

Selection Process

The selection process includes:

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Trade Test (Mechanic) / Driving Test (Driver)

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a salary under the pay scale of:

₹24,280 – ₹72,850 per month

9. Since there is no Preliminary Written Test for these technical posts, candidates must later visit the TSLPRB website again to complete the Part-II Application by uploading the required certificates and documents. The schedule for Part-II submission will be announced separately by TSLPRB.
