AIIMS Raebareli Recruitment 2026: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raebareli has released an official recruitment notification for Faculty (Group A) posts in various departments. The recruitment is being conducted on a direct recruitment, deputation, and Contract basis. A total of 91 vacancies are available for Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification depends on the post and discipline.

For Medical Candidates, the notification requires a medical qualification included in the specified schedules of the Indian Medical Council Act, along with a recognized postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS or an equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline for specialty subjects. For super-specialty subjects, the required qualifications include the relevant postgraduate qualification and M.Ch./D.M. or recognized equivalent qualifications, as applicable.

For the Department of Biochemistry, MD (Biochemistry) or MD (Lab Medicine) from a recognized institution will be considered. For Pathology, MD (Pathology) or MD (Lab Medicine) is considered as specified in the notification.

Candidates holding DNB qualifications may need to provide documentary evidence of DNB equivalence with MD/MS/DM/MCh as per the applicable NMC notification.

Experience Required

Professor

For speciality subjects, candidates generally require 14 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the prescribed MD/MS or equivalent qualification.

For super-speciality subjects, the required experience is:

• 12 years after a recognized 2-year/5-year D.M./M.Ch. course, or equivalent; or
• 11 years after a recognized 3-year/6-year D.M./M.Ch. course, or equivalent.

Additional Professor

The required experience includes:

• 10 years for specialty subjects after MD/MS or equivalent.
• 8 years for super-specialty subjects after a recognized 2-year/5-year D.M./M.Ch. course.
• 7 years for super-specialty subjects after a recognized 3-year/6-year D.M./M.Ch. course.

Associate Professor

The experience requirement includes:

• 6 years for specialty subjects after MD/MS or equivalent.
• 4 years for super-specialty subjects after a recognized 2-year/5-year D.M./M.Ch. course.
• 3 years for super-specialty subjects after a recognized 3-year/6-year D.M./M.Ch. course.

Assistant Professor

The experience requirement includes:

• 3 years for specialty subjects after MD/MS or equivalent.
• 1 year for super-specialty subjects after a recognized 2-year/5-year D.M./M.Ch. course.
• No experience is required for candidates possessing the recognized 3-year D.M./M.Ch. or 6-year course after MBBS, as specified in the notification.

Age Limit

The age limit as on the closing date of application is:

Age relaxation is available as follows:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Government Servant: 5 years

The notification states that age relaxation will not be available to reserved-category candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.

Application Fee

The fee includes 18% GST and is payable through the online payment gateway available on the AIIMS Raebareli website. The application fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted by a duly constituted Standing Selection Committee.

AIIMS Raebareli also reserves the right to conduct a written test if the number of applicants in a particular department is 30 or more.

3. Log in to your applicant account.
4. Select the Faculty Recruitment 2026 advertisement.
5. Choose the post and department for which you are eligible.
6. Carefully fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, experience and other required information.
7. Upload/submit the required documents and certificates as instructed in the application form.
8. Pay the applicable application fee online. The fee is ₹2,360 for General/OBC/EWS and ₹1,180 for SC/ST candidates. PwBD candidates are exempted. Contract and deputation applicants are also exempted from the application fee.
9. Review all details carefully and submit the application before the deadline.
10. Download and take a printout of the completed application form, sign it, and keep it safely for the interview.
11. At the time of the interview, bring the printed application form along with the required original documents and attested photocopies, including qualification certificates, experience certificate, medical council registration, category certificate where applicable, publication list and other supporting documents.
