Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess either of the following qualifications:
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Plumber/Draftsmen (Civil) Trade, OR
- Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
The following qualifications/licenses are desirable:
- Plumbing License issued by the Kerala Water Authority.
- Electrical Wireman License issued by the Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board.

Job Responsibilities
The selected Technical Support Staff will be responsible for various MEP maintenance and engineering-related activities, including:
- Supervision of day-to-day plumbing works.
- Supervision of carpentry and fabrication works, including installation, operation and maintenance of plumbing and allied systems.
- Coordination of associated electrical works.
- Monitoring the campus water supply system and ensuring uninterrupted operation.
- Supervision of operation and maintenance of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
- Supervision of operation and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).
- Execution and supervision of minor and miscellaneous works related to plumbing, joinery and furniture.
- Verification and certification of contractors’ bills relating to plumbing and allied works.
- Conducting site surveys.
- Preparation of estimates and technical assessments for plumbing and joinery-related works.
- Maintenance of records and inventory.
- Proper documentation of works.
- Performing other duties assigned by the competent authority from time to time.
