Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for ECoR Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026 must generally meet the following educational requirements:

  1. Passed Matriculation/Class 10th under the 10+2 system.
  2. Secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Matriculation.
  3. Possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade affiliated with NCVT/SCVT under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

The required qualification must have been obtained by the prescribed date. Candidates whose Class 10 or ITI results were still awaited on the notification date are not eligible.

Special Qualification

  • For the Laboratory Technician (Pathology) trade, candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, along with the prescribed marks requirements.
  • Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible under this particular apprentice notification, as they come under a separate apprenticeship scheme.

Age Limit

The candidate’s age will be calculated as on 15 September 2026.
