Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. Proficiency in the prescribed local language is required, while working knowledge of computers is desirable.
Officer Scale-I – Assistant Manager
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent is required.

Officer Scale-II – General Banking Officer

Selection Process:
The selection process varies according to the post.
For Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, IBPS will conduct Preliminary and Main examinations. Office Assistant candidates are provisionally allotted based on Main examination marks and reported vacancies, while shortlisted Scale-I candidates proceed to a Common Interview after the Main examination.
For Officer Scale-II and Scale-III, candidates appear for a Single Online Examination, followed by a Common Interview for shortlisted candidates.

Main Examination
For Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, the Main examination consists of 200 questions for 200 marks with a total duration of 120 minutes. Subjects include Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English/Hindi and Numerical Ability or Quantitative Aptitude, depending on the post.
Negative Marking
There is negative marking in the objective tests. One-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer. There is no penalty for unanswered questions.

- Click “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and enter the required basic details. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and also sent through Email/SMS.
- Upload the required documents: photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, SSC/SSLC/10th certificate and applicable certificates/UDID documents. Candidates must also capture and upload a photograph through webcam or mobile phone during registration.
- Fill in the remaining personal, educational and post-related details carefully. Use the “Save and Next” option to verify the information before final submission because changes are restricted after completing registration.
- Pay the prescribed application fee through online mode only. Payment options include Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards and Mobile Wallets.
- After successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated. Download/print the e-receipt and the completed online application form and keep them safely for future reference. There is no need to send the printed application to IBPS or the RRB.
