Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry Recruitment 2026: The Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Uttarakhand has released an official recruitment notification for the appointment of 28 Veterinary Pharmacy Officers under the Animal Husbandry Department, Uttarakhand.

Category-wise Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates applying for the Uttarakhand Veterinary Pharmacy Officer Recruitment 2026 must fulfil the prescribed educational qualifications.
• The notification requires candidates to have passed the Intermediate Examination with Science subjects from the Uttarakhand Board of School Education or the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education, or another examination recognized by the government as equivalent.
• In addition, the candidate must possess a Diploma in Pharmacy (Allopathy) recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
• Candidates must also fulfil the other qualification and registration requirements prescribed in the official notification.

Registration Requirement

Applicants are required to possess valid registration with the Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council.

The notification/application form also requires details of registration with an employment office in Uttarakhand. The prescribed application form specifically asks candidates to provide their Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council registration number and employment office registration details.

Preferential Qualification

Preference may be given in direct recruitment where other conditions are equal to a candidate who:

Selection Process:

• Selection for the Uttarakhand Veterinary Pharmacy Officer posts will be carried out under the applicable Uttarakhand Veterinary Pharmacist Service Rules, 2010, as amended in 2011 and 2020.
• According to the notification, the selection committee will prepare the merit list based on the marks obtained by eligible candidates in the Diploma examination.
• If two or more candidates obtain equal marks, the candidate who is older in age will be placed higher in the merit order.
• The selection process will begin only after disposal of the court cases referred to in the recruitment notification.
