Educational Qualification:
Junior Clerk-Cum-Copyist:
Candidates must:
- Be a citizen of India.
- Have passed at least +3 Examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Have passed at least a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
- Be able to speak, read and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard.
Grade-III Stenographer:
Candidates must:
- Have passed at least +3 Examination or equivalent.
- Possess a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
- Possess a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand.
- Possess a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Meet the prescribed Odia language requirement.
Junior Typist:
Candidates must:
- Have passed at least +3 Examination or equivalent.

Minimum Qualifying Marks
For the Part-I written examination, the minimum qualifying mark is:
- UR & SEBC: 35% in each paper.
- SC & ST: 40% in each paper.
For the Computer Science Practical/Technical Knowledge in Survey & Settlement Practical, the cut-off is 50% for General & SEBC candidates and 40% for SC & ST candidates.
Skill Test Details
For Grade-III Stenographer, candidates will be dictated a passage of 400 English words in five minutes, which must be taken down in shorthand and reproduced through a computer system in ten minutes.
For Junior Typist, candidates will receive a written passage containing 400 English words and must reproduce it by typing through a computer system in ten minutes.
Documents Required
Candidates should submit the applicable self-attested documents along with the application, including educational certificates and mark sheets, Diploma in Computer Application certificate, shorthand/typewriting certificates where applicable, caste certificate where applicable, medical certificate for eligible physically/orthopedically handicapped candidates, certificates/identity cards for Ex-Servicemen or Sports Persons, Odia qualification certificate, Revenue Inspector Training certificate for Salaried Amin, Employment Exchange Card, and NOC for candidates already in government service.
Candidates must also submit two self-addressed envelopes with postal stamps of ₹60 each, two character certificates from eligible authorities, and passport-size photographs as prescribed. Applicants for more than one post have to submit separate applications and relevant documents for each post.
