ESIC Ezhukone Recruitment 2026: Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital, Ezhukone, Kollam has released Advertisement No. 06/2026 for the contractual engagement of Specialists (Full Time/Part Time) and Senior Residents (1 Year). A total of 18 vacancies are listed in the notification, including 7 Specialist posts and 10+1 Senior Resident posts. Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for Specialist

Candidates applying for Specialist posts should possess:

• MBBS degree with TCMC registration, and
• Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in the concerned speciality.
• For ICU-related requirements, eligible PG Degree/PG Diploma qualifications include Anaesthesia, General Medicine, Pulmonology/Critical Care, along with Medical Council registration.

Experience Required for Specialist

Candidates should have:

• 3 years of experience in the respective speciality for PG Degree holders, or
• 5 years of experience in the respective speciality for Diploma holders.

Senior Resident Qualification

For speciality departments, candidates should possess a Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in the concerned speciality after MBBS, along with TCMC registration.

For ICU posts, candidates with a PG Degree or PG Diploma in Anaesthesiology, General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Critical Care Medicine may be considered, subject to the Medical Council registration requirements mentioned in the notification. All additional postgraduate qualifications must also be registered with the Medical Council.

Age Limit

Specialist

The age of candidates applying for Full Time/Part Time Specialist posts should not exceed 69 years as on the date of interview. Tenure beyond 70 years is not allowed.

Senior Resident

The upper age limit for Senior Residents is:

45 years as on the date of interview.

Age relaxation for reserved-category candidates will be applicable as per rules.

Salary

Full-Time Specialist Salary

Full Time Specialists will receive approximately:

₹1,42,514 per month

The engagement is initially for one year and may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and the conditions mentioned in the notification.

Part-Time Specialist Salary

Part Time Specialists will receive:

₹60,000 per month

Additionally:

• ₹15,000 may be admissible as visiting charges for emergency calls, if willing.
• ₹800 per additional hour beyond the prescribed 16 hours per week, subject to approval and justification by the competent authority.

Senior Resident Salary

Senior Residents will receive remuneration under Level 11 of the 7th CPC, with total emoluments of approximately:

₹1,42,514 per month for PG Degree holders.

The notification states that ₹1,350 will be deducted for Senior Residents possessing only a Diploma.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application fee through Demand Draft as specified below:

The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “ESIC Fund A/c No.1”, payable at SBI Keralapuram Branch.

The application fee, once paid, will not be refunded.

Walk-in Interview Date & Venue

Eligible candidates have to appear directly for the walk-in interview as per the following schedule:

Date: 25 September 2026
Registration Time: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Interview Time: From 10:00 AM
Venue: Administrative Block, ESIC Hospital, Ezhukone, Kollam.

Candidates should reach the venue within the registration period and carry all required documents.

Documents Required

Candidates must carry the original documents along with one self-attested copy of each. The notification lists the following documents:

1. MBBS Degree Certificate.
2. PG Degree/Diploma Certificate applicable to the post.
3. TCMC/Kerala Dental Council/MCI Registration Certificate, as applicable.
4. Matriculation Certificate as proof of date of birth.
5. Original Experience Certificate.
6. Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, wherever applicable.

Important Instructions

Contract Period

Senior Residents will initially be engaged for a maximum period of one year from the date of joining. They are required to remain available on call as prescribed under ESIC norms, and private practice is not permitted.
