- Non-Medical Candidates: Ph.D. in relevant fields.

- Professor: 14 years teaching/research experience.
- Additional Professor: 10 years.
- Associate Professor: 6 years.
- Assistant Professor: 3 years.
- Age Limit:
- Professor/Additional Professor: Up to 58 years.
- Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Up to 50 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Salary:
- Professor: ₹1,68,900/- per month (Level 14A)
- Additional Professor: ₹1,48,200/- per month (Level 13A2)
- Associate Professor: ₹1,38,300/- per month (Level 13A1)
- Assistant Professor: ₹1,01,500/- per month (Level 12)
