Assam Field Assistant Recruitment 2026: The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) for Class-III Posts, Government of Assam, has released an official recruitment advertisement for 72 Field Assistant (Statistics)/Enumerator posts under the centrally sponsored Integrated Sample Survey (ISS) of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Assam. • Mathematics

• Sociology
• Psychology

OR

Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject and 50% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level.

Language Qualification

Candidates must have studied:

• English, and
• Any one of the following local languages:
  • Assamese
  • Bengali
  • Bodo

Both must have been subjects during HSLC.

Computer Qualification

Candidates must possess knowledge of computers and be comfortable entering data through handheld devices.

Applicants must have a minimum 6-month Computer Course Certificate from a Government-recognized institute.

Age Limit

Candidates must satisfy the following age requirements as on 1 January 2026:

Age will be calculated on the basis of the candidate’s HSLC/Class X Pass Certificate or Admit Card issued by a recognized Board/Council where the date of birth is clearly mentioned.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive:

Pay Band-2: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹5,600, along with other admissible allowances.
