Salary:
Selected candidates will be placed under the following pay structure as per the 7th Central Pay Commission:
- Pay Level: Level-3
- Basic Pay Range: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month
- Allowances: DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, Free Ration, Uniform, Medical Facilities, and other perquisites as per Central Armed Police Force rules

Selection Process:
The selection process is multi-stage and eliminatory. Failure at any stage results in immediate disqualification.
Stage 1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying in Nature

Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates who qualify for the PET undergo biometric verification and then PST — measurement of height, chest, and weight as per the physical standards table above.

Stage 4: Trade Test – 50 Marks
Candidates who qualify for CBT appear for a practical Trade Test in their respective trade. Passing marks: minimum 20 out of 50. Candidates scoring below 20 are eliminated.
Stage 5: Document Verification (DV)
Original documents are verified, including educational certificates, domicile certificate, caste certificate, HTV licence (for Driver), ITI certificate (for MMV), date of birth proof, and ESM discharge certificate (if applicable).
Stage 6: Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
Final stage — medical fitness as per CRPF/CAPF standards. Candidates found medically unfit are not selected. A Review Medical Board is available for candidates who wish to appeal their DME result.
