IOCL Gujarat Refinery Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Gujarat Refinery, has released the official notification for the engagement of 647 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. Eligible candidates possessing ITI, Diploma, B.Sc, B.Com, BA, Class 12, and other prescribed qualifications can apply online through the NAPS/NATS portal.

The online application process starts on 29 June 2026, and the last date to submit the online application is 28 July 2026.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications according to the respective trade:

• Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
• Fitter: Matric + ITI (Fitter)
• Boiler: B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
• Technician Apprentice (Chemical): Diploma in Chemical/Petrochemical/Chemical Technology/Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering
• Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation
• Secretarial Assistant: BA/B.Sc/B.Com
• Accountant: B.Com
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12 Pass
• Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate): Class 12 with Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate

Minimum Marks

• General/OBC/EWS: 50%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 45%

Age Limit:

As of 30 June 2026

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Training Duration:

Training duration ranges from 12 to 24 months, depending on the trade.

Selection Process:

There will be no written examination.

Selection will be based on:

• Merit prepared from qualifying examination marks
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Stipend:

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and IOCL guidelines.
