NZP Recruitment 2026 – Apply for 3 Zoo Design Consultant, Animal Health and Welfare Consultant & IT and Media Consultant Posts

The National Zoological Park (NZP), Government of India, has released the NZP Recruitment 2026 notification for the recruitment of Zoo Design Consultant, Animal Health and Welfare Consultant, and IT and Media Consultant posts. Vacancy Details

The National Zoological Park has announced three vacancies across three different consultancy positions.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications to apply for the respective positions:

1. Zoo Design Consultant

• Accredited degree in B.Arch. or B.Tech. (Civil).
• Alternatively, M.Arch., M.Tech. (Civil), or PhD in a relevant field.
• More than 10 years and up to 15 years of experience in architectural design with a valid Council of Architecture (COA) registration.
• Retired government employees with Grade Pay of ₹8,700 or above are also eligible as per the notification.

2. Animal Health and Welfare Consultant

• Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.
• More than 5 years and up to 10 years of experience in animal care and treatment.
• Retired government employees with Grade Pay of ₹6,600 or above may also apply.

3. IT and Media Consultant

• B.Tech./B.E. in Information Technology or M.Sc. in Information Technology.
• More than 3 years and up to 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Retired government employees with Grade Pay of ₹4,600 or above may also apply.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working on zoo, wildlife park, aquarium, botanical garden, or safari park projects.
• Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.
• Experience in website content creation and management.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all three posts is 65 years.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive the following consolidated monthly remuneration:

Contract Period

• The initial engagement will be for up to three years (1+1+1).
• Extension beyond three years may be considered for up to an additional two years on a case-to-case basis.
• The appointment will be on a full-time basis.
• Selected consultants will not be permitted to take up any other assignment.
• Continuous absence from duty for eight days without prior information may lead to automatic termination.
