Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification & Experience:
Senior Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent Examination
Computer Qualification (Any One):
O Level or Higher Level certificate course conducted by DOEACC under the Department of Electronics, Government of India
Certificate course on Computer Concept by NIELIT, New Delhi
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) certificate under the National/State Council of Vocational Training Scheme
Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Application from a university established by law in India or recognized institution
Senior Secondary Certificate with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects
Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by the Government
Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, under Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited
Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government
Additional Requirement:
Knowledge of working in Hindi written in the Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture
Desirable:
Candidates appearing in the final year examination of the course, which constitutes the educational qualification, may also apply, but must submit proof of passing before appearing in the Phase-II Typing Test
Ex-Servicemen:
Ex-servicemen who have an equivalent certificate after 15 years of military service can apply. They should mention ‘Not Applicable’ in the roll number and select Grade ‘N’ while filling educational qualification
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST/OBC/MBC Male candidates (Rajasthan domicile): 5 years
General Category Female candidates: 5 years
SC/ST/OBC/MBC Female candidates (Rajasthan domicile): 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: 15 years (maximum upper age limit 50 years, 55 years for posts requiring lower experience)
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 5 years (in addition to category relaxation)
Widow and Divorcee women: No age limit (subject to retirement age)
An additional 1 year relaxation for RPSC, Administrative Reforms Department positions (as no recruitment in 2024)
An additional 3 years relaxation for Rajasthan Pollution Control Board and Board of Secondary Education positions (as no recruitment in the last 3 years)

This is a One-Time Registration (OTR) fee to be paid once through the SSO Portal
Candidates who have already paid the OTR fee need not pay again
Payment can be made through authorised e-Mitra kiosks, CSC, Net Banking, ATM cum Debit Card, and Credit Card
Candidates from other states/UTs belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS categories will be considered as the General category and must pay the General category fee
Selection Process:
Phase I: Two objective-type written papers (3 hours each, 100 marks each)
Paper 1: General Knowledge, Daily Science and Mathematics
Paper 2: General Hindi and English
Phase II: Computer Typing Test (For non-disabled candidates only)
Hindi Typing on Computer: Speed Test (10 min – 25 marks) + Efficiency Test (10 min – 25 marks)
English Typing on Computer: Speed Test (10 min – 25 marks) + Efficiency Test (10 min – 25 marks)
Disabled candidates will be awarded the average marks obtained in Phase I
Minimum Qualifying Marks (Phase I): 40% in each paper (35% for SC/ST candidates – 5% relaxation)
Minimum Qualifying Marks (Phase II): 36% in each test (31% for SC/ST candidates – 5% relaxation)
Only candidates scoring a minimum 40% in both papers of Phase I and ranking within 3 times the number of vacancies will be called for Phase II
Final merit will be based on the combined marks of Phase I and Phase II
The exam will be conducted in offline (OMR-based) mode
The normalisation process will be applied if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts
Negative marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
