A total of 8 vacancies have been announced under this recruitment drive.

Educational Qualification:

• Junior Technical Superintendent – Centre for Quantum Science & Technologies

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• First Class Bachelor’s/Bachelor’s (Honours) Degree in Physics/Electronics or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience; or
• First Class Diploma in Electronics with an excellent academic record and at least 5 years’ experience; or
• Postgraduate Degree in Physics/Electronics with 2 years’ experience; or
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering Physics or Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute with 1 year of experience.

Knowledge of instrumentation, electronics, physics and particularly Quantum Mechanics is listed as desirable.

• Junior Technical Superintendent – Indian Knowledge System and Mental Health Applications

Essential Qualification:

• First Class Bachelor’s/Bachelor’s (Honours) Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery with at least 5 years’ experience; or
• Postgraduate Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery with 2 years’ experience.

Desirable experience includes Ayurvedic mental-health practice, clinical management of anxiety, depressive, sleep and stress-related disorders, standardisation of Ayurvedic interventions and familiarity with Indian Knowledge Systems frameworks relevant to mental health.

• Junior Technical Superintendent – Software Development & Automation

Candidates should possess any one of the following:

• First Class Bachelor’s/Bachelor’s (Honours) Degree in CS/IT with at least 5 years’ experience; or
• First Class Diploma in CSE/IT with at least 5 years’ experience; or
• Postgraduate Degree in CS/IT with 2 years’ experience; or
• B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT or MCA with 1 year of experience.

Desirable skills include experience with technologies such as Python-Django, JavaScript, React, Node.js and Laravel, along with databases, application deployment, testing and maintenance.

• Junior Technical Superintendent – Network & System Administration

Applicants should have any one of the following:

• First Class Bachelor’s/Bachelor’s (Honours) Degree in CS/IT/Electronics with 5 years’ experience; or
• First Class Diploma in CSE/IT/ECE with 5 years’ experience; or
• Postgraduate Degree in CS/IT/Electronics with 2 years’ experience; or
• B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE or MCA with 1 year of experience.

Desirable experience includes system and network administration, LAN/WAN networking, network security, backup and recovery, virtualization, Linux/Windows environments and IT infrastructure support.

• Staff Nurse

Candidates must have:

1. Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent with a 3-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
2. Registration with the Nursing Council.
3. At least 1 year of experience in a hospital recognized by the Central or State Nursing Council.

Experience in a minimum 20-bedded hospital, emergency department and critical care, along with handling life-threatening emergencies, is desirable.

Age relaxation is applicable as follows:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC-NCL: 3 years
• PwD: As per rules
• Ex-Servicemen: As per rules

Regular IIT employees who are educationally qualified may be considered for direct recruitment across the IIT system up to a maximum age of 50 years, subject to the conditions stated in the notification.

Eligibility relating to age, qualification and experience will be calculated with reference to the last date for receipt of applications.

Selection Process:

IIT Mandi may conduct a Written Test and/or Trade Test depending on the requirements of the posts. The Institute may also constitute a Screening Committee to shortlist applicants on the basis of qualification and experience.

Merely meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for the selection process. IIT Mandi may shortlist applicants using criteria higher than the minimum eligibility requirements, including marks, relevant experience or specialization.
