AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 18 Assistant Professor Posts
The AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026 offers 18 vacancies for Assistant Professor posts under the AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Interested candidates can apply online from December 22, 2025, to January 20, 2026, at the AIIMS Bhubaneswarwebsite (aiimsbhubaneswar.nic.in).
A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
A postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
Three years of teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super specialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
One-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for candidates possessing a 3-year recognised degree of D.M/M.Ch. or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master degree in the discipline/allied subject.
A Doctorate from a recognised University in the concerned discipline.
Three years of teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate.
M.Sc. (Medical Anatomy) with PhD Medical Anatomy.
M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry) with a PhD in Medical Biochemistry.
M.Sc. (Medical Physiology) with PhD Medical Physiology.
M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology) with PhD Medical Pharmacology
A recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree qualification is included in Part I of the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
A recognized Dental qualification obtained up to 01.11.1972 under Part-II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
A recognized Dental qualification granted by an authority or institution outside India, only when granted to a citizen of India up to 13.08.2009, under Part-III of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
Any person who is a citizen of India possessing a foreign qualification and has appeared and passed the Screening Test Examination as per the Screening Test Regulation 2009 w.e.f.13.08.2009.
A post-graduate degree in Dental Surgery from a recognized University or Institution.
Should be registered with any State Dental Council or Tribunal in India.
3 years’ teaching experience in the speciality as Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Senior Resident, or Lecturer after a requisite post-graduate qualification from a recognized teaching institution.
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years as on the cut-off date.
Application Fee:
Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) Plus Applicable GST.
For EWS/ OBC/ Unreserved candidates, the Application Fee is Rs. 1000/- plus applicable GST.
No Application Fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidates of any community.

The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respects can apply through the online application mode only. The Online registration of the application will be made available on the official website of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, i.e. https://aiimsbhubaneswar.nic.in/.
Candidates after applying through online mode must send the hard copy of the duly signed online application form and self-attested copies of Matriculation Certificate, MBBS Degree Certificate/Mark-Sheets, MD/MS/DM/MCh or equivalent certificates/Mark sheets, Teaching/Research Experiences Certificates, etc., in support of fulfilling the essential criteria of age, educational qualification, teaching/ research experiences etc.
