The Indian Army TES 55 Recruitment 2025 offers 90 vacancies for Officer posts at the Indian Army. Interested candidates can apply online from October 14, 2025, to November 13, 2025, at the Indian Army website (joinindianarmy.nic.in).
Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from recognised education boards are eligible to apply for this entry.
The eligibility condition for calculating the PCM percentage of various state /central boards will be based on marks obtained in Class XII only.
Candidate must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025 (Mandatory)
Age Limit:
Minimum Age Limit: must not be below 16½ years
Maximum Age Limit: above 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence, 01 Jul 2026
The candidate should not be born before 02 Jan 2007 and not after 01 Jan 2010 (both days inclusive).
Salary:
Stipend during Training: 56,100/- p.m while at IMA only

Shortlisting of Applications:
Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist the applications and to fix cut-off based on the JEE Mains CRL and other laid down parameters, without assigning any reason.
After shortlisting of candidates, the Centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their registered email. After the allotment of the Selection Centre, firm SSB dates will be allotted to the candidates.
SSB:
Only shortlisted eligible candidates, depending on the cut off, will undergo SSB at one of the Selection Centres, i.e, Prayagraj (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) or Jalandhar (Punjab) by a Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer.
A call-up letter for the SSB interview will be issued by the respective Selection Centres on the candidate’s registered e-mail ID and SMS only.
Allotment of Selection Centre is at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated Headquarters of MoD (Army) and NO request for changes is entertained in this regard.
Candidates will be put through a two-stage selection procedure.
Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II. Those who fail in Stage I will be returned on the same day.
The duration of the SSB interview is five days, and details of the same are available at the official website of the Directorate General of Recruiting www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
This will be followed by a medical examination for the candidates who are recommended after Stage II.
Medicals:
In the eventuality of being recommended by SSB, Candidates are required to undergo a Medical examination at the nearest Military Hospital, and the candidates should have no objection to undergoing a medical examination by a board of Male/Female doctors.
Merit and Joining Letters:
The merit list will be prepared based only on the marks obtained by the candidates in SSB.
Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be issued an A joining Letter for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria
