Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification & Experience:
Candidates must have achieved qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2023 or 2024, or 2025 in Electronics & Communication (GATE code: EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (GATE code: CS), along with
B.E. or B. Tech in the fields of Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering from a Government-recognised University/ College/ Institute. Or
Master’s Degree in Science with Electronics or Computer Science or Physics with Electronics or Electronics & Communication; or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications from a Government-recognised University/ College/ Institute.
Age Limit (as on 16-11-2025):
Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
Maximum Age limit: 27 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Salary:
Level 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400) in the pay matrix (Plus admissible Central Government allowances.
Special Security Allowance @ 20% of basic pay in addition to other Government allowances.
Cash compensation instead of duty performed on holidays is subject to a ceiling of 30 days.

All candidates: Recruitment Processing Charges (Rs. 100/-)
Male candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories: Examination Fee (Rs. 100) in addition to Recruitment Processing Charges (Rs. 100), i.e., Rs. 200/-.
Selection Process:
Candidates (10 times the number of vacancies) would be shortlisted on the basis of the GATE score card (qualifying cut-off marks) of 2023 or 2024, or 2025 and will be called for Skill Test and Interview.
Skill Test – It would be practical-based and technical in nature, commensurate with the job profile.
Interview – It is aimed to assess the candidate’s traits on two parameters, i.e., Subject knowledge in relevant fields & Communication skills.
On the basis of combined performance in the GATE Examination, Skill Test and Interview, the final merit list for the post will be prepared in accordance with the number of vacancies.
A waiting list would also be prepared for providing replacement in future, which will be operative in terms of DoPT OM No. 41019/18/97-Estt. (B) dated 13.06.2000.
Maximum Marks under the Scheme of Exam are 1175, out of which, 750 marks are earmarked for GATE Score, 250 marks for Skill Test & 175 marks for Interview.
