AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the official notification for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online for Nursing Officer (Group-B) posts in AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutes across India.

Interested candidates can submit their online applications from 24 July 2026 to 13 August 2026 (5:00 PM) through the official AIIMS examination portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy either of the following:

Option 1

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized institute or university.

OR

• Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized institute.
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.

Option 2

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized institute.
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife.
• Two years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the essential qualification.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories.

Application Fee

SC/ST candidates appearing in the examination will receive a refund of the application fee after verification.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of two Computer-Based Tests (CBT):

Stage-I: NORCET Preliminary

• 100 MCQs
• 90 Minutes
• General Knowledge & Aptitude + Nursing Subjects
• Qualifying Examination
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark

Stage-II: NORCET Main

• 160 MCQs
• 180 Minutes
• Nursing Subject Questions
• Merit will be prepared based on Stage-II performance
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark

Qualified candidates will be allotted institutes based on merit, eligibility, and preferences.

Salary

Selected candidates will be appointed as Nursing Officers in Level-7 Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band-2 ₹9,300–34,800 with Grade Pay ₹4,600) along with admissible Central Government allowances.

Step-by-Step Application Process

2. Log in using your existing One-Time Registration (OTR) ID. If you are a new user, complete the OTR registration first.
3. Click on “Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11”.
4. Fill in the online application form with:

   • Nursing Council registration details
   • Work experience (if applicable)
5. Upload the required documents:
   • Recent passport-size photograph
   • Signature
   • Left thumb impression
   • Educational certificates
