AIIMS Nagpur Recruitment 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur has released an official recruitment notification for Group A Non-Faculty Posts on a direct recruitment basis. Educational Qualification and Age Limit

Assistant Nursing Superintendent (Female)

Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc. Nursing (4-year course) from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized Institute/University; OR
• B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic), 2-year course, from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized Institute/University.
• Six years’ experience after the prescribed B.Sc. Nursing qualification in a minimum of a 200-bedded hospital/healthcare institute as a Staff Nurse.
• At least 3 years of experience should be as Ward In-charge or Supervisor.

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years.

Child Psychologist

Educational Qualification:

• M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology with M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Child & Adolescent Mental Health.
• PhD in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University/Institution is desirable.

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years.

Medical Officer (Homoeopathy)

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in Homoeopathy from a recognized University/Statutory State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine or equivalent qualification recognized under the relevant council.
• Enrolment on the Central Register or relevant Central/State Register of Indian Medicine.
• 3 years’ clinical and/or teaching experience in a recognized hospital/teaching institution.
• Postgraduate degree in Homoeopathy is desirable.

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years.

Medical Officer (Unani)

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in Unani from a recognized University/Statutory State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine or equivalent.
• Enrolment on the Central Register or relevant Central/State Register of Indian Medicine.
• 3 years’ clinical and/or teaching experience in a recognized hospital/teaching institution.
• Postgraduate degree in Unani is desirable.

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years.

Medical Physicist (Nuclear Medicine)

Educational Qualification:

• M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology from a recognized University/Institution.
• RSO Level-2 certification recognized by AERB.
• PhD in Nuclear Medicine is desirable.

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years.

Medical Physicist (Radiotherapy/Radiation Oncology)

Educational Qualification: Any one of the prescribed routes:

• M.Sc. in Medical Physics or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution; OR
• M.Sc. in Physics + postgraduate diploma/degree in Radiological/Medical Physics; OR
• M.Sc. in Medical Technology with Radiotherapy as a special subject and/or Diploma in Radiation Protection.

Experience: 2 years’ experience working in a Radiotherapy Department of a Hospital.

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years.

Tutor/Clinical Instructor

Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc. Nursing Degree from a recognized Institution/University; OR
• Registered Nurse and Midwife with Sister Tutors Diploma.
• 3 years’ experience in a teaching institution.

Age Limit: 18 to 35 years.

Age Relaxation

The upper age limit will be calculated as on the last date of online application. The notification provides the following relaxations:

Additional age relaxations are available for eligible Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers and certain Central/State Government or Autonomous Institution employees according to the conditions specified in the notification.

Application Fee

Applicants have to pay the prescribed non-refundable application fee through online/digital mode.

The notification states that the fee is non-refundable and applications without the prescribed fee, unless exempted, will be rejected.

Selection Process

The final selection will be based on performance in the Interview. However, AIIMS Nagpur may conduct a Screening Test/Computer Based Test (CBT) or another screening process if a large number of eligible candidates apply.

The selection process can therefore be summarised as:

Application → Screening Test/CBT (if conducted) → Interview → Document Verification → Final Selection

For the interview, the minimum suitability marks are:

• UR/EWS: 50 marks
• OBC: 45 marks
• SC/ST/PwBD: 40 marks

The interview carries a total of 100 marks. If CBT is conducted, candidates must meet the required suitability level at both the CBT and Interview stages.

CBT Exam Pattern

If a CBT is conducted, the notification specifies:

For candidates using a scribe, the examination duration includes 20 minutes extra per hour.

Salary and Pay Scale

All seven advertised post categories carry Pay Level-10 under the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Selected candidates will also be entitled to applicable allowances and service benefits such as DA, HRA/accommodation, TA, Leave, LTC, NPS and Employee Health Scheme, as admissible under AIIMS Nagpur rules.
